    £2000 + sounds a lot mate.

Normally they steal the cat as it has a good value.

As you opened the bonnet i presume you are actually missing the manifold and possible the turbo also? I presume so with the price quoted?

cracking old manifold bolts on a good day is a hours work ! if the bonnet was shut then im amazed LOL

Saying that, even if they took the CAT back, old exhaust and im talking anything over 500o miles old is a mission. Normally needing ox/acet to heat teh bolts to remove.

Hobbit knows just how much work/hard it is to remove.

My vitos exhaust fell off over the weekend (good job really as it had an embarrassing bad boy twin thing that always had people overtaking and shaking their heads at me)

. Cost of new one...£380 inc vat and fitting. Sh1tting hell!

The amount of rot and rust underneath my vito I saw when it was on the ramps was unbelievable, gonna need new sills both sides to get through the next mot in March.

Vitos are prone to rust, my old boss had one and the last time I saw him in it before he got rid it was near on orange down both sides looked horrendous, one of the reasons I gave them a swerve.

Its what lets them down as apart from that they are cracking little vans.

Apparently they changed the metal they used after 2006 to a galvanised type as they were getting so many warranty claims!

Dont doubt it, when I was looking at vans I debated getting a vito but went with a primastar, every vito I looked at was rusting everywhere no matter if it was 5 years old or 10 years old, like I saod my old bosses vito was literally orange down both sides just under the side doors.
