Driving today and a guy pulls alongside and makes a few gestures to the back of my van and mouths something. Got the idea that there was something wrong with the back of my va, thought maybe something hanging out. Pulled over and found the back / bumper a nice creamy colour. The Mapei Ecotack had fallen over and i hadn't put the lid on properly.
Gutted, had that with the f3 the other day. It stuck the door catch so couldn't shut the back door properly
yup, know the feeling, had 46 out the sliding door before, not very nice Thats something id venture to say has happened to every fitter who's been at this game for any length of time lol
it's always nice to see it happen ti someone else rather than just me worst I Had was a when I through a can of expanding foam on my rack and the latex trowel sliced in to it
Couple of years ago left the side door open of the van went round a round about and heard a noise looked out tub of micro coat, f44, heat seaming box,tub of inch wires and a tub of gimp pins ohh and smashed dyson all over the road, had to be rush hour aswell heard meee maaw mee maaw but they just drove by pheewwww
A guy I used to work for many years ago was loading up his Renault Espace one morning , when he threw a tin of spray adhesive in the back . It hit a screeding trowel and deposited the contents all over the back of this car !! He was pacing up and down like Basil fawlty, I didn't think my knickers were ever going to dry !! It couldn't have happened to a nicer man !! He was a pratt to be honest !! Phil
When it happened to me, my mate put a full f44 with a loose lid ontop of a empty drum. No wonder it fell off. He never made that mistake again.... I sacked him
It looks as though you took a wrong turn into the zoo and got your back doors pushed in by a randy elephant
My godson/weekend helper precariously placed a 3/4 full f3 tub on a of a part roll of cloud nine at side door of my van. 2 corners from the job, I hear a recognisable thud, immediately pulled over, and it was in my steel toe caps, all over my straight edge, in my tool box and drips all down the road. I screamed at him and it was a long silent drive home. Lol. I forgave him. These things happen ay mate.
Can of spray bursting in your toolbox is a bad one, it gets into all your tools with moving parts and they stop moving. Nightmare!
Happened to me too with a full tub of HT. Didn't realise till I opened the rear door then Whoosh! ....all over the client's new car park. Then two hours of running back and forward for buckets of water!
