WHen you say you use the padco? What size & if it's the 18 is it the heavy bar or the light one.I did a 500m2 area in the summer it went down quick & the client was happy but i had a few niggles with it. Any tips you would like to share.
    Cheers Tony

.Recently we refinished a 500m2 woodblock using a T bar unfortunately we tried several variations on a theme but could not eliminate leaving a lacquer line on the back edge ,we eventually had to smooth this with the lambswool.Any help would be appreciated as i like the speed of the T bar but worry about the finish.

Sounds like you need the lighter one, if you have had to use the lambswool. I have in the past lifted the pole slightly but that just leaves more on the floor than required.
    You've tried different angles?
Try walking away from it rather than dragging it towards you if you see what I mean.
Are you using blue or yellow core and what seal are you using?
    sorry for the ??

ok that's a single pack, not used it so just googled. Use a blue core for waterbourne products, yellow can be usd for water based but I just use it for solvent based products as it tends to run smoother due to the fibres.
    Hope this helps.
If you're leaving a line of seal you may be applying pressure to the pole without realizing..

Thanks for the help & tips ,using a light bar makes sense as the method i used was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y22B28JSgh8 ,whereby i applied no pressure as i have been pulling so it has to be the weight of the bar.Where do i get a lighter bar & does anywhere stock 12 inch "T"s.
    Thanks again for the help

I'll see if I can sort you one out.
try and keep the puddles even that way it won't run back into it so much, if you end up with too much at one end work your way across from that end a couple of times to keep it even.
When you turn at the end try having the bar on a dry bit then hold it upright and with pressure roll the pad towards you so the handle goes from upright down to your knees, that will stop the pad from getting clogged. Also run down the wall by a metre so that when you turn, it will glide round easier.
    Hope this helps too.
