Multi tool

Looking to get a cordless multitool, have Looked at the Bosch, and Makita kits online, anyone with any advice?

Agreed. More power and you're not always worrying if it's charged or not

 

I have the bosch multi tool, blue pro one, which comes with a very long lead.

but, the idea is to make life easier, won't be used everyday, thinking mainly for cutting door jambs, and cutting already fitted laminate to the correct place under doors for fitting of z bars, or door stops if tiles in doorway out too far. Makita only 22min charge time. Or should I just get the Fein corded?

 

you will regret getting a cordless one not the same power output or as strong as corded ones
once you buy a fein you will wonder how you managed without it

 

I would stick with the corded one mate

110v can be used domestic and site bloke im working with at moment spent £300 on 240 v fein and is having to cut arcs on sitecwith saw lol

i would for sure go for the Fein... I LOVE MY FEIN, MAKES MY LIFE COMPLETE...

fein 110v quick change, £160 on ebay brand new.

 

I have the bosch cordless and it suits me ok for doing architraves but I might get a corded one for back up, handy if customer has tongue and groove wall panels that you can't scribe into.

 

To hijack this thread slightly, do I remember rightly that someone on here repairs Fein tools?

Great site, what about the fein cordless? baring in mind I fit mainly carpets and it won't be used all day everyday,
