Trying to remember where I saw someone using the Hitachi. I just remember noticing it cut 18mm ply on an overhang with no vibration.
My jigsaw is crap. It's my dads old one. Don't really need a good one as use my exakt saw for cutting ply.
That hitachi jigsaw is a pile of ****e, I've got one and hate it. My makita is much better, much smoother to control and its got a light!
Have a look at the clearance deals from these guys. I buy tools from them when I need them. http://www.lawson-his.co.uk/clearance-power-tools-c1825
unless you get a festool the makita jigsaws are the best, same with the mitre saws. That dewalt is way underpowered strggles to cut through anything.
