That looks pretty good! How's it feel to walk on compared to laminate/lvt?

the underlay is used for sound insulation where regs dictate its needed. Also gives a bit of thermal help.

Dont be fooled by using underlay takes out unevenness in the subfloors. (for future reference)

Funnily enough Just laid my first click lvt job today. Although its a bit more fiddley than traditional stuck down systems. You save a surprising amount of time with glueing out and waiting to tack off. Easy clean up no checking for glue on the surface. Looks a lot better than laminate. I think we'll be seeing a lot of this in the future.

it needs clamping down on now, only floorcovering retailers with appropriately trained and assessed instaallers should be able to supply

I was told by someone at Quickstep that it's the buying groups that supply to the Internet places. Quickstep tried to insist on a minimum selling price to protect the retailers but we're told to eff off.

My only issue with clic lvt is the no direct sunlight bit. Nearly every job I do in lvt has had patio doors or large window. Is the a way round this?
