No mate that is my old and battered Roberts bolster

 

Oh, looked a bit like mine which I "borrowed" off my dad who was a builder, when I started 35 years ago, never used anything else.

 

Looks cool, one question though. How the hell did you manage to shrink the carpet and line it up fom pic 1 to pic2?

 

Very impessive, and like V Man said, how did you get from pic 1 to pic 2?

nice work, lovely carpet just a shame it's so expensive! would love to get a bit of work with some been nearly 12 months since I did

 

On the tread you use metre wide sigaway tape,wet it with water then just get it tight as poss and it will shrink,it's real easy to do.i've been fitting this stuff for about 8 years now,and have found my own way of doing it

yeh the fitter itrained with years ago used to do cinemas very similar ,wet it on one side and it shrinks to form a semi circle type shape.

 

Thats really impressive, have done a few oates stairs now. Dont think id have the nerve to start experimenting with it tho at the price it is.

 

And were not a skilled trade !!!!! I think these photos say different ! Cracking work mate.
