I'm with Direct Line, costs me fifty-something quid a year.
And I'm a sole trader too.

No one will? You have to specify it as most insurance companies will quote you as little as possible and cover you for as little as possible

NEWSFLASH-a multi million pound office complex was razed to the ground this morning when an unattended carpet join caught light. It's thought the fitter responsible may have left to have a cigarette or to go for a dump.
The police are looking for a red faced floorlayer who smells of tobacco, with possible skidmarks.

1983, fitting a carpet in a posh house in Hungerford, burnt hole in carpet because of damaged lead on extension lead whilst seaming.;)

My point is everyone on these forums seem to go straight down the insurance/court route.
If I did happen to burn a hole in someones carpet, I'd replace it.
I went through a pipe once, so I got the plumbers in and paid for it. Hardly the end of the world!
