Ive never seen weld shrink on length or width when cut off straight away if youve seen it only once I wouldnt be worried 99% chance it was just bad welding / mistake, agreed it should be cooled down first, I always cut off almost straight away with mozart cutter using spacer first cools it down quicker and causes less pull when cutting off final run with mozart
Thats because people are scared out it i've always found 1lm at a time welds up like a treat or if there are 2 of you doing it can just keep going .Do wish that all companies manufacture the multi coloured weld like Forbo looks the business when finished.
