Done a karndean over underfloor heating on f46 on a previous thread I'd said I thought it was not very tacky got a call this morning him saying he's stuck he's underfloor heating on on 20c and they have began to peek in places when I skimmed it you could see the water under floor heating pipes though the skim not literally but you could see where they were which got me thinking are they deep enough as they he tells me that 70mm was put on top which was like a fibre and cement screed and the heating had been of for 48 hours before and after any one any ideas or every come across it also the karndean had been in the room for 3 weeks and it was warm when I laid them

Think the maximum surface temp for f46 is about 27 28 degree ,
did a job years back in some holiday lets with ufh , and put it on the estimate stating not to go over this ,trouble was people renting the cottages wacked the heating right up and low behold problems

Well if you had used the correct adhesive you would probably not of had a problem, must use Karndeans Universal or HT for UFH.

Don't agree with that after reading bits on here and seeing how to do it on a course I started using f46 for ufh and never had a problem what if your fitting polyflor camero on ufh what adhesive would you use ? if you phone balls they will say f46 last year i fitted 95qs of Van Gogh in mates kitchen / diner all with underfloor heating which his mrs runs at 30 in winter and it also has 7 foot tall 27 foot wide glass door which is south facing and the heat through that is unbearable but we've gone through 4 diff seasons now and the floor hasn't moved at all, conservatories i fit using f46, karndean ht isn't a glue that can be used correctly very often, take a conservatory in summer for instance south facing and bloody hot you paper felt all windows up to block out sun and may need an ac unit to still cool it down but the floor temp is still hot and ht glue turns to quick so you need to be spreading 1 or 2 tile / planks at a time put tiles straight in and roll to get a good transfer on tiles add feature strips boarders and laid on the 45 and your fitting time has tripled or you could use a strong ps glue glue it out have cup of tea while it goes off then fit it all as you would any other lvt job,

Doubt it, Karndean wouldn't use a good product like that.
