Matt well looks well smart, have to try one of those

 

i prefer to do 2 edges rather than the 4 squared to the door size if you get my drift, but it does look nice the way you've done it

 

prefer NOT to put in a matwell if i had the choice... tried to 'persuade' them to floor area & sit a mat on top BUT being old school they wanted to keep the look the same as before!!! there was 2" deep matwell set into the concrete which had to be raised so as not to be a trip hazard...

 

this is my fave kinda matwell,,, simples!!! nice black coire mat with chrome profile finish...

I would have prefered the coir to run the other way, so the lines run together, but that's just me being picky.... nice job welsh

I prefer the dark brown coir as it hides the crap but hard to convince people.

 

I prefer a coir mat to be lifted out and cleaned rather than hide the dirt...

 

I mean the water mark you get almost straight away when you use a natural colour coir. Lets face it, how many people take those matts out and clean then? Judging from the amount of crap that falls out of every1 I've uplifted....not many!

so do you mean you'd have the longer run of the coir 90 degree to what it is in the photo??? shirley that can't be what ya mean MJ, have never seen a matwell fitted perpendicular to a door, always parallel init..?!?!

 

just trying to wind merit up that's all, but he didn't bite enough.... I wanted to reply with "well I prefer" everytime he replied..
