F ball 1200

    FBall products certainly aren't what they used to be.

    This badge is tiny, years ago it would have been twice as big.

    I saw a demo on 1200 the other day and to be fair its pretty much the dogs balls, the rep guaranteed you could cover most subfloors with it without primer. Seemed to dry a bit soft for what i like but he assured me it was heavy duty. He pulled out a gypsum based screed too, what that's for i do not know !

    Ok used it today and was impressed first bag I don't no why was to me a bit like balls 300 then when I mixed the 2nd seemed a lot weaker checked both containers and were both empty flowed really nice just troweled it on no roller and it went mega flat every trowel mark fell out will see what it drys like on wens

    So, I guess 1200 is Ball's version of NA.

    I got told £18 today from my supplier so cheaper than NA which im sure will please Ardex!!

    That is exactly what they are marketing it as, when I was up f ball the other month they mentioned that was what it was manufactured to be.

    Was told similar a couple of quid more that green bag and114, feel for Ardex stopped using feather edge last year for uzin nc888 now looks like NA sales will take a hit. Looking into my crystal ball I see a NA price drop much like with uzin 175 a few years ago when it was no longer the only flex on the market.
