I cut it in tight and antiplas double sided round edges at kitchen base units. It says on packaging to put a 10cm band of tackifier round the edge.

I didn't do anything except cut it in tight. Mines due to come up in 6 months tho. Was only temporary stuff for them.

Was it hot when you fitted it?

no usual sort of temp, it does say to acclimatise for 48hrs on pack which I didn't do tho. they were all out of boxes the day I fitted them so not going down from box. when I did karndean course they said would prob take an hour to acclimatise, but thought theyd get bigger if anything.

This is what mine was like. Luckily it's for the super rich and no one ever cares. Would t wanna put the stuff down in a normal customers house.

Hi Daz, maybe a combination of not correctly acclimatising, (when they come out of the box there's two back to back and you really have to pull them apart), a floating weyrock floor which was level but a bit of vertical movement (I never plyed as Karndean Looselay video is over weyrock too), they had a party 2 days later with 12 people ? who knows. Temp constant tho, easily sorted. Will be tackifing next ones tho to be safe.

we ran a few tests on Karndean loose lay. We found it to be very stable. Acclimatising from the results we had back is not needed ! but if they say you need to then you do. Not that i agree with how they tell you to acclimatise.

For example, if im fitting in a conservatory and its the hottest few days of the year and i leave in there for 48hrs, well what have i just acclimatised the product to ?

what if its a new build and the heating is on low and maybe only 15c in teh house when you acclimatice and fit. But consumer moves in and sets temp to 21c temp. Well again, what have you acclimatised to?

    Answer- the wrong climate !

Did you test it in sun light then matt?
What I worry is I lay it in a school with windows so sun on the floor for hours then it cools down.

It went in the ovens and was heated from 10c upto 60c and then before and after measurements taken. Basically it was taken up hotter than sunlight will ever get it.

As above, results back was its stable.
