hi guys I'm curious to find out what you expert think is the best fitting method for fitting domestic carpet, i know every manufacture has its own installation methods and guides depending on the carpet , but just for argument sake if their was only one standard-rise method , what would you chose and why

    That's a different story ! & you didn't edit the tile ?

What exactly do you want to know about fitting "domestic" carpets ?

There are 100 ways to do it, as long as it looks right in the end that's the important part - personally i like to stretch, cut and tuck but i have been known to hook in some cheap twists from time to time.

Bearing in mind you don't fit, get a professional to do it, it doesn't cost that much and you will save your self a headache when it all goes wrong. Plus you can watch him/her and pick up some pointers !

I aint planning on fitting the carpet, the reason for me asking the question is I run a flooring business and I wanted a professional advice of what method people thought was best method to fit domestic carpet, as I was thinking of having all my fitting teams fit in the same method , every single time

I wouldnt try and make them fit a certain way unless your putting them all into a training course or something? I work with a few guys and they all fit slightly different. Like most people like to finish a room into the door plate but I always start from the door.
