Fitted some amtico this week, antique oak.

Used classic oak for the squares which I cut down with the gilly and bevelled.
Gold / classic oak / gold border.

The living room I did last year.

I did spacia in the kitchen which I didn't take a picture of as looks cheap compared to the amtico.

How did you come about this design? Did the customer ask you for something different? Did you draw it out for them? Don't think we ever get anyone brave enough for something like this

like it very much... just a question tho.. any reason for not putting the squares in the 2 full rows as I see you have put one on the border near the stairs... sorry to point that out just asking... valid reason I may not be able to see it..

They showed me a picture in the amtico book they said do like that. So thought a border would look best. Hard to set out and try keep the squares off the border , which I couldn't do near the cupboard. Had to draw the squares out so one didn't touch the curve.

That's some good work Daz. You say you bevelled the tiles yourself - I never seem to be able to get a good consistent finish on them when I do it - just don't seem to be able to set up the beveller.

It took me ages to get it right for amtico. My old bevel tool is set up to micro bevel as don't want to altar this one.

Personally I think you'd be rubbish at setting up a beveller Daz but I'll bring mine along on 12 July if you like and you can prove me wrong!!
