I am diversifying from the family holiday scene as my kids are almost grown up so looking for holidays where my wife and I can truly chillax. Any idea's or experiences please ?
Caribbean. Pure relaxation, lovely different foods and the people are so friendly. Been lucky to go to a few different places there.
Got to be with the lads anywhere with sun an beer. After my stressful family holiday looking forward to Portugal next June with the lads.

Barbados, absolutely beautiful went on my honeymoon and it was great (pre 4 kids), white sand 50 degree heat and an ocean so clear you could see the bottom as far as you could see, pure paradise.
Mexico, riviera maya. Last 3 holidays I've been there. Foods amazing hotels massive. Had 26 bars at our last one. El dorado is an adults only hotel. We stayed at grand palladium and gran Bahia principe. The first was slightly better.
Thailand, went in 2001 and 2003 ,spent almost 3 months there. It's more touristy now and built up but back then brilliant. Gorgeous beaches, secluded beaches, cheap food, friendly people, ride about on mopeds. Great fun. Also Did Hawaii, oz, Bali, all whilst travelling. Want to see Japan, Vegas, maldives but these will have to wait while the children are young, no money for those sorts of holidays, for now its Spain every year.
Off to Philippines in august,borocay and palawan,been a few times already.... But then my wife is filipino,kids love it too
This will be my 6th year without a holiday/break away or even a weekend away, but then that's what Sundays are for after i've cut the grass, strim, cut hedges, weed and sweep up...

Just back from florida Disney with the kids for the first time, great to see and do but fook me that aint a holiday, glad I went but can`1t wait to get 2 weeks on a beach somewhere.
I'm not doing 15 hour days and sime weekends to not have a break. Villa holidays in Spain are good. Book it all separately but having a villa for 2 weeks is great. Nobody to annoy you. Your own pool, BBQ, drinking, good times. Work hard play hard. Ski every February. Love it.
@ creative. I was meant to do Vegas in 05 but my mates pulled put. I think it will be my stag do in a few years. I want to see a big boxing show as well. Mayweather would be cool. I love gambling and drinking so its a perfect place for me. You Been going with the lads?
went dominican for my honeymoon a few years back loved it, loads to do the ron keeps flowing stunning scenery and great food, but greece is my favourite country i've ever been to can'tbeat a gyros when you're hammered
