Yes done that and my thoughts the same, just glad i booked another week in a villa after advice from a friend i would need it to recoup. Great holiday though and hopefully go back again with grand kids when and if I get some
Love the Dominican republic as been a few times, have some great memories there and met some great people, just the long haul flight puts me off these days. Never been to Greece so that could be an alternative.
First time was with my wife's family when I was 18. Second time was just me and the missus, and got engaged at the Venetian. Went to the opening party at Wynn. Last time was with 16 of us and was mad. If you go for your stag, let me know, lol. I missed out last year to go again for me and my mates 30th birthdays. Gutted.
Been to the Dominican a few times but would love to try other Caribbean Islands but have always had to go in school holidays before which was twice as expensive and usually hurricane season.
April hols would be fine mate. Went to Jamaica on honeymoon in july and would go back tomorrow. Brother-in-law is Jamaican and one cool, chilled out guy. Weather was fine for that time of year too
Reminds me when I first went to Egypt on a back packers budget and lived like a king (Luxor and Cairo) in 80's before Mcdonalds, traffic lights and Sharm existed in Egypt. It changed so much when I returned 10 years later I hardly recognised the place.
Yes Islamorada, tarpon and shark fishing, love it!! not a wife or family thing really, tried it once to combine with a trip to Disney, was so knackered fishing all night and up with the kids during the day, not a lot to do with the children in the keys unless you fish, haveing three vegetararion girls who were not that impressed when I used to bring home fish and cook on the BQ , only did it he once ! Enjoy Antigua now as a family fun in the sun
Just booked up to go to Florida next year to do the Disney/Universal thing, me, the wife, our four kids, in-laws and my dad......not sure if I'm looking forward to it or dreading it!! The year after that, me, my two oldest boys and my dad are off to the Keys fishing. Fancied Kokomo just cos of the Beach Boys song, but it doesn't exist.....damn those f3cking lying bast4rd Beach Boys.
I did that once with the outlaws and the sister in laws family , was really tiring and hard to escape if your staying in a big house all together, good luck, lol I have a few places near Disney and run a rental buisness at www.bahama-bay.co.uk so if you need any help or advice what to do pm me, Where in the keys are you going and what type of fish do you catch, pm me just in case nobody else likes fishing
Just been on your site, that's pretty impressive. we're staying in a hotel, separate rooms, the thought of us all sharing a villa brought me out in a sweat. As for the fishing, not sure where we're going, but Dad has his heart set on anywhere in the Keys, and as long as the weather is good we're not too bothered about what we catch. Poor Dad's not as mobile as he was, so he's trying to pack in as many holidays as he can, while he can. Mum can't hack the long flight so Dad takes us along for company (when my missus permits!)
Out of all places its florida for me this year is the first year we wont be doing all the parks it is knackering trawling round them but daughter loves them and shes the boss, but theres everything I need there and will never stop going back, but for a closer relaxing hol cala d or in majorca is really nice and relaxing its quiet but bars close enough forwhen beers are needed
my kids are only young yet 4 yrs and 19 months so rides not so much at the minute shame i'm a big kid really. Beach beach and more beach but i hate sand great
Blue lagoon in turkey with kids, private villa with 2 pools and a games room, brilliant place, people so friendly love it.
