FloorSkills has been testing a new flooring grade plywood. We are very impressed with the results! The plywood has been developed specifically for the flooring trade. Dried to interior conditions (8-10%MC) Class 3 exterior grade adhesive bond Legally & Sustainable source (EUTR) Technology for timber 'Diamond Certified' So what does FloorSkills make of this new product? FloorSkills is very impressed with the plywood. We asked for 15 sheets so we had a variety to test. The first thing we did was to check its moisture content. It arrived with a moisture content of 8.9% which is perfect for internal conditions. We then lay the boards on the sub-floor ad they lay very flat, none of this wavy issues found with other plywood. We then tested the thickness tolerance between each board (all 15 sheets) and found that they was all within 0.15mm of each other. I'm sure you will agree that this tolerance is very very good. We have also forced moisture into one side of the plywood to see how it would react, the results are very good. The plywoods glue bond is holding strong with no signs of de-lamination along with the product staying remarkable dimensionally stable. So the overall verdict? 10/10 Where do you get it?
