Yes Flexyfix will fix loose wood blocks, it's ideal for it. Flexyfix was actually developed for wood flooring but Matt & Daniel mentioned gripper rods so we tested it with them and it works a treat. Uses include: Setting out blocks & locking in final rows before cutting boarders (after about 30 minutes so you can start working off the header line or make a cut for a boarder), Starter rows, fitting wood trims/skirting boards (30 minutes after fitting they won't get kicked out when you leave site, and with the high grab no need to weigh them down with your transformers). Stair nosing - wood, metal & UPVC (no screws required if the sub floor is sound, clean, free of contaminates & dust free. Massive time and labour saving. You do need a professional (18:1 ratio) gun, Rewmar distributors should stock them and it should last a life time if you look after it!
well actually it would. BUT if they have broken away then the adhesive is already failing. Rewmar adhesive will bond them back down but if you dont remove a glue that is already failing first then it is destinging to carry on failing and again it will fail. The rewmar adhesive wont fail, the old adhesive will. Does that make sense?
Unfortunately yes it does. There's about 50/60 blocks in a church I've got to sand and I just wanted to fix them down fairly quickly to get on with the job.
Do you sell the guns too? Or don't we need a 'certain' gun for it? Want to order some but don't want to have to then find the right gun to use would like to buy all from one place. Also do we get loads and loads of discount for being forum users!
