Surely it's the points of where the dividers meet which gives you the squares, across the whole patten ?
Yes every distance from every corner is the same if you place the two point of the dividers on opposite corners of each diamond but that's not quite it ?
Someone please put me out of my misery ? Who knows how to make a perfect hexagon with compass on a piece of paper ???
Mark out a circle with compass then put a line through the middle half its diameter and do two arcs and join up the points giving you a perfect hexagon. Something like that anyway
Did you stick it first and then cut it into a Circle with a peace of ply or do it dry! Steve.
Cut the circle in the floor first with long scribe bar stuck the pattern down over lapped & under over scribed it ! Then a few weeks later (the other day) cut the circle bigger coz I decided it needed the tramline which isnt the ideal after thought the gap needs to be spot on to get the strips to fit properly !
Thanks mate just some odd tiles I had but worked well to give it the shadow effect which obviously makes it look more 3D !
