Looking at putting some mixers on shop as they're being asked for.
So looked into it and wondered what you guys think of these, http://www.alfra.co.uk/Mixer.htm I like to do my homework first before putting anything on the shop

I would put some budget ones in there. Most of them are designed for much heavier mixes than self smoothing screeds. Many of us won't be mixing any more than 10-20 bags at a time. My mixer cost about £70 about five years ago and it mixes bags almost effortlessly.

I paid £69 for my mixer off amazon & up to now it's lasted longer than my £250 heavy duty mixer that burnt out after 2yrs ?

There the sort of mixer I would buy. Look very similar to Refina, and Eibenstock, heavy duty, and made to last.

I'm beginning to see a pattern here. You get the flash, new. state-of-the-art tools and poor Paul gets sent to Aldi and Gumtree. Does Paul actually have a van or is it a bike with a basket on front? :D

To be honest I do all the estimates, invoices and most of the paper work. His girlfriend does some too but Paul don't.
So I deserve the nice van to drink my tea in an the better tools cause I look after them and don't leave them on jobs or in the rain.
He costs us loads in lost tape measures, knifes, scrapers etc so why give him the best lol

Anyone seen or used the aldi paddlemixer that they have in store at the minute for £39.99 don't do much screeding so wondered if this was a good deal 3 yr guarantee.
