So from what I've read its gonna **** things up for a day or two, is everyone going into work or are you gonna rain it off? (no pun intended) I've got 155m2 of carpet to fit in cheltenham driving from ascot, so a good run down the m4 before going up the a419 which can pick up quite a cross wind at the best of times, I'm in 2 minds at moment with what to do, ill probably give it ago to get there but not overly confident about it.

Bet its not even that bad. Only problem is the roads, it only takes a few hours of rain to **** up the m3 and m25 let alone a storm!

Wait and see what its like.

Hopefully just a tad windy and won't disrupt things to much.

I was an apprentice in the last big storm, had the van to take home. Tried to get from Farnborough to Basingstoke but couldn't no matter which way I tried. Went back home in the end, rung my boss up who said he wasn't expecting me anyway.

That's what I'm thinking if I was semi local I'd just go in as normal but the news reports are giving me second thoughts about the 120+ mile round trip just in case, got caught out circa 5 years ago with that big snowstorm took 5-6 hours to get back to bracknell from Oxford.

I remember the one in 1990 pretty well, walking home with my mum from school and she was literally dragging me at points as I couldn't walk against the wind, the garden shed went through the fence as well :)

Cheers, yeah I know about the twitter thing but it's a good way to help with the seo, if I tweet anything too bad I knock out a couple of generic tweets so it's not showing on the website lol

Sod it - I'm staying home today. The local radio does updates on twitter and the little village in the sticks that I need to get to is blocked no matter which way I go. Knackered anyway
