As apprentices are going through FloorSkills they require their own kit...
What would you guys like to see in this kit for your apprentices?

I reckon two kits. Carpet and safety flooring.

For safety flooring a mitred straight edge . Rubbing down stone, trowel, tape, scraper and two knifes one concave and hooker.

nothing really special for an lvt 'kit' mate
really it's just knives, tape, straight edge etc
then work up to bevellers, gillys, and other toys that the proper lvt lads use

    working well mate!
leaves a pretty rough surface tho, so think i need smoother ones
also got a painted floor in next couple weeks, pcd splits maybe, but gonna see if the 20 takes it off
Tho if id been smarter i wouldve put some smoother segments onto my existing order and save P&P lol

I think it would be good to have two seperate ones. Personally i think theres alot of difference between a Floor Layer and a Carpet Fitter

Yes, but can they match www.tradediscountshop.co.uk on quality and price? I dont think so.

Plus i have a put in a request to Mario of what tools i would like to see. We have apprentices turning up with 'starter toolkits' and they are missing the key items and normally filled with cheap tools to bulk the bag out they wont use.

    A big hammer!!!

Two tools bags is a must. One for fluffy stuff and one for 'ard floors

A fair point there Matt, quality and a decent choice of tools for all occasions would work well
