    Good afternoon Chaps,

as a rule we (our fitters) use F. Balls products, we are considering changing to Laybond screeds and adhesives. I am interested to find out what people use. Basically what's the best !.

Mainly use arditex for screeds but been using the screedmaster 2 for the past couple weeks which I really get on with (again) - hate the laybond screedmaster trade though with pure vengeance.

Adhesives I mainly use the Uzin 2000s/F46. Today I used the laybond tacky which is.......tacky!;)

Favourite adhesive is F46 and for screed you cant beat 300. But im liking 1200 for certain jobs

Personally i dont think there is one particular company.

The job dictates who's product to use as each manufacturer has a product that is more suited to a certain floor than the others

Use a lot of mapei screeds and adhesive. Have been using more fball 300 and 1200 this past few weeks as been getting a better deal. If I'm struggling for costs on a job I'll use laybond, but only if I have a few days to let the screed dry out

ye, too totally different ends of the table but teh products above are same manufacturer. To be fair Fball along with many others have there screeds sorted. They do all types. However they are a little limited on primers, wood adhesives and so on. Just as all manufacturers are.

So like i say, you pick the manufacturer whos system suits the area.

Nope once the F46 tub has run out I will get a little tub and give it a try. I used Amtico PS the other month and thought it was great stuff.

Think twice, if not 3times the strength of that, and that's what it is like.

What`s the name of the Mapei ps ?
    Will give it a try.
I always try and use Uzin adhesives, rate them as the best. No problem with FBall stuff either.

    Ultrabond eco fix

Put it this way, you can glue out (and wet roll) and think....ummmm...... the pubs open, i will fit tomorrow...... you go the pub and return the next day and you have adhesive on the floor ready to go.

    A true Pressure sensitive.
