Ones coming to see me next week. He's been ringing me loads. I said I don't want one. As only got asked if a customer could pay by card twice last year.
He still wants to meet me an give me the info. He said 20 min. I will time him. He better not be a pushy salesman.

What's the point! Your only helping them! I only get asked for card payment 2 times a year and its normally the bigger jobs which would be 2.5% charge on top of the bill or 35p on a debit card. Only thing I thought it would be good for is payment in completion as soon as the jobs finished. You can use your mobile to take the payment.

send them an invoice via paypal and add the charges on, they dont even need to have a paypal account as there is an option to pay using a card as a one off transaction, thats what I do anyway, 3.5% on any type of card though so dont use it too often.

Be interested to see the outcome of this, I've recently changed my business banking to Barclays and spoke to there merchant services twice and they will not budge at all on percentages and rental of a mobile terminal.

Costco's seems to be offering decent option as well as payment sense but I do agree it maybe one of those things that may not be used much but I would prefer give clients the option than not.

Just trying to find the right deal for me

There's a daily limit of £300 that can be pinged via the service, with no fee for you to send or receive cash. Problem is £300 is less than my minimum charge!
