Did a kitchen today and had 5 curves to do. Cocked up with the price as thought it was going to be square. Will ask next time. Amtico spacia honey oak with Karndean copper / brown / copper strip View attachment 3583 View attachment 3584
The spacia wasn't the best really, had a few issues butting the planks end to end. I was continuing a floor I did 3 years ago too and this batch was alot lighter.
Cheers lads, took all day Dan, 9 ish till 6.30 Had to put some feather down 1st then did the border. Also on other side of the kitchen is a floor I laid 3 years ago. So on that side they have had some units put in so had to cut some planks out and fit a border round the units and fridge which was a nightmare cutting them and getting them out. The damp utility is just off that room ( that's my other post on damp )
Very nice. My LVT skills aren't as advanced as yours, how do you do a curve ? Do you warm the tiles then fit them into glue while still pliable ?
That looks a different method than how I was shown on floor skills doing around a curved shower a while back
There is different ways. Sometimes you can't use the curve cutter so I use Radflex. Just depends what you are trying to follow.
