I have done most courses at Floorskills,
Must say I have enjoyed everyone.
Great trainers willing to help at all times,
If you can do as many courses as you can you never stop learning,
And Floorskills knows what they are on about.
What you learn pays for it self,

Just waiting for some new courses now Matt haha

Top notch lvt l2, will go back and do the lvt l3 once matt has finished developing it and ready for the trade, 100 times better than the amtico one I did last year always happy to answer any questions and all round a good atmosphere to learn in.

Defiantly the way forward with floorskills being unbiased on products and opinions on which materials are good and which ones are not really suitable to use dispite alot of fitters thinking otherwise, at amtico the training felt like a chore and it was their way or no way, matt showed us multiple different ways in which to achieve the same results and it was more like being taught by a fitter than it was like being taught by a training manual like at amtico.

Will be putting my new knowledge into action and correcting a couple of bits of my prep work which I wasnt doing 100% correctly due to not knowing as the saying goes 'if your not told you dont know' added bonus which I didnt know is that on the certificate it says mflor approved and should be easy to get an account and start selling selling their products! bonus :D

Will have to save up to do the wood course as the apprentices herringbone wood bays looked mightily impressive.

One of those herringbone bays could be Mattys, did some even more impressive stuff that I can't do when he was there last. I knew it would be good to get him on the wood apprenticeship with Floorskills and it's showing at work for sure, doing twice as much work as last year!

I was going to mention it in this Karndean complaint thread that Being trained at Karndean is one thing as its mostly based on fitting the product & not subfloor prep ?
At FloorSkills as well as excellent fitting techniques Matt & the guys also give the best & most beneficial sub floor prep training which a "Karndean only trained fitter" just would not have been given ?

The tools matts developed are also different gravy gonna have to get myself the contour cutter as well as the little pointy straight edge to add to my collection of straight edges, will definitely keep the bendy skills under wraps from people not in the know and also the little info on how best to go about pricing jobs was very clever in the manner that you do it, will all be put to practise.

Thanks Spacey, we have enough info to stretch the subfloor course out for 1 Week !

We do our best to cram into 1 day, people who have done the 1 day subfloor prep course start to realize just how much manufacturers , other training centres actually miss out of their courses.
