hi folks my name is Dave. I'm 37 & I am a truck driver at the moment. I have done years of d.i.y in my spare time including laminate & engineered flooring for friends & neighbours. Loved doing the flooring so I'm looking to change careers as I am fed up in my current line of work. I've booked the basic laminate & the advanced wood courses & intend doing other courses. I'm just hoping I can get some work. I have tried contacting flooring companies to see about Apprenticeships but I'm too old so they say. I will get work somehow if i keep trying. Any way thats me saying hi.
I'm from bristol. Allsorts. stripped out bathrooms & re-fitted new sanitary ware & tiled walls & floors. Painting & decorating, garden decking including raised deck, Re landscaped gardens with new lawns & patios. Done a few laminate floors & engineered wood floors, built breakfast bars & even plastered a wall. All this was done with no training & all jobs got great feedback. not saying I'm great far from it but I like trying new things
