Ha, I did a laminate job last week, all skirts off as it should be. She had a tiler (yeah, yeah) to do the kitchen.. So I said, I'm taking off the skirts between the saloon doors at kitchen as the tiles are the same height as laminate and it's only 100mm but make sure the tiler takes off the return to the units too match, it's only 250mm worth... Came back and he had tiled upto existing skirt and chippy has put new on leaving it at different heights ( I shake my head) muppets.. I now have the job to tile the conservatory and caulk the skirts as the chippy didn't and neither did the painter.. why!!! by the way the painter was doing the tiles..lol and had to borrow a tile cutter from a mate.. and he looked blankly when she asked him about caulk.. Oooops did I drop him in it?....
