Heya guys, wanna get a buffer, not sure what im looking for really. I see 'viktor' on ebay a fair bit. And then how do you attach the abrasive cutting/grinding disks to them for say, cutting back laitence? Ive never used one or seen one being used. Thanks
Victors are good. I have a numatic nmd. You need different drive boards to attach to the underneath. Not got a grinding disc myself but have a drive board which i attach sanding discs to. Took me ages to work out what i needed for it when i first got mine. Dead funny too watching someone use it for the first time. My bro in law went flying across the room when he first attempted to use it. I was laughing for days much to his displeasure. Lol
Thanks coolevilangel that looks cool but not looking to spend that much just yet. Good description and info though so thanks
don't forget a suction kit. Matt has a company he's looking into at the moment, comes complete with suction kit too..
yes mate, really difficult to get them, I have ones that should fit but they don't fit all machines due to the shape of them as I found out..
Oh ok. I was gonna get my mate to follw behind me with vac lol. Got a 60m2 fresh screed to grind, be first for me
Sand and cement screed, and ive looked into hire costs....if i hired a buffer 2 times in a year thatd work out more exp than buying one off the bay
An Str 701 is the best machine, for multi tasking. Has all sorts of attachments, inc a dust skirt, which works !
