Got a 200 m2 ply and expona job coming up soon so finally think I will invest in a coil nailer and compressor. What you guys using? Any1 got the silent compressors from machine mart, any good? Do I just go with the Spotnails package?

I went for the fasco nailer, bostich hose, and bambi silent compressor. I have an ordinary compressor too but to be honest I never use it anymore as the noise difference is HUGE!! Really easy to set up never misses a beat :)

Does the fasco nailer take 19mm nails?
What size is the compressor? 6 litre 8 bar?

I bought a tacwise coilnailer BTW takes 19-50mm nails has all the same functions a cn45 in fact I think its the same gun almost identical. Cn45 was out of stock from betco & I wasn't guna pay an extra hundred & odd quid from spotnals for the same gun ? Glad I didn't

That silent compressor must be handy, especially with a 120 decibel nail gun on the end of it.

The smallest it takes is 22mm I think and the compressor I went for is ....

My only regret is going for this shape instead of traditional wheeled version. It toppled in the back of the van one day when I was chasing my tail a bit, smashed both dials a goosed the regulator. Costly mistake but lesson learned, now have a plywood box for it to sit in the van. :)

It's not much louder than a fridge when it switches on, yes the nailer is a good bit louder. On site it wouldn't bother me but in a customers house I prefer to keep the noise down where possible ........ no radio either just my dulcet tones ;-)
