Yeah that was good stuff. I don't care where the ply comes from as long as it stays together when I prime it or glue to it. Not had any problems with sp101 but had bad ply from pretty much everywhere else. Hedlam being the worse!!

No you cant. You can not purchase SP101 under another brand for cheaper. There is no one producing the same specification at present.

Ask Lethams to put that in writting and we will post up on here.

    Bet they wont ?

SP101 is 100% not made in china. Not that being made in china should be a issue if a high quality manufacturer is producing. China is more than capable of producing high quality products. However 'china' has customers that demand a specification. Those customers being U.K wholesalers who ask for CHEAP. Why do they ask for CHEAP? Ummm.......

Example, is a Apple i phone classed as 'High' Quality ?

I would say yes, but its made in China? Does this mean that its now crap ? NO, the wholesaler /manufacturer demanded high quality. Thats whay you get.

I didn't say its SP101 but I can buy Indonesian ply which is the same light colour & a higher grade than the normal cheap stuff & very good quality IMO at £9.50+vat a sheet for 6mm. Can't get the same gear in 9mm but I still get canny 9mm

I buy my ply from James Burrells builders merchant & never had any issues in the 5yrs I used them. I do request the higher grade stuff though as they do sell cheaper ply
