What grit do you rub the floor down with mate?

Normally 16 grit, lasts for ages.

Thats what I need, wondered why they was all sold out. Only just started to use a buffer and the bloke in the trade counter give me 40 grit to start, that was a waste of money

For this small machine I just buy the 9" rolls of 16 grit and double stick it to the pad.
For the STR machine I have been buying the double sided discs from Spe. I rekon they are close to 16, but just sold as course.

ive been using double sided tape to stick the paper to a black pad? Do you use a black pad or something else?

depends what machine im using, but nothing wrong with using a black pad.
