I'm hardly doing any carpets any more so am going to change the van. The traffic/vivaro/primastar vans have had a minor revamp and it looks more suitable. So that's probably what I'll go for. Got to get a test drive sorted then talk money. My current van is a 59 reg lwb transit with 4/5 seats (depends if I put double or single seat in the front). I'm hoping that'll cover the deposit
I would have loved the sport if it was in Lwb but the custom limited is just as good especially when I get it mapped. im trying to get the foldable roofrack but ford want £700 with the vat so they can go and swivel on that. Cant justify paying that for a roofrack. Would have had it as the extra when ordered the van but they told me another 3 wks wait... WTF!
Popped in to chat to Renault and vauxhall today. The vans been revamped and they're not ready for retail yet. November or December
Think I'm gunna get the new renault. Mate of mine has a custom and has had loads go wrong, plus back doors have a fault apparently
Not had any issues with my custom (touch wood) I heard there was some revisions made on the 14plates as apposed to the 63 plates. Such as door hinges snapping, oil pump failure and leaky washer bottles but ive had no issues on my 14 plate. like any van, there will be negs against it but as long as you have warranty on whichever van you get then you should be ok.
Nice one . Nice to hear coz really like the look of custom. My mates is 62 plate so that makes sense. Also 60,61 plate transits also dodgy back doors (excuse pun) . Meant to ask u about your van few weeks ago daz
Just picked up my new Transit....amazing van, well chuffed with it. Gotta get it all racked out now and sign written. Funny thing is the old ones running better than ever? Must know its on its way out
Prop shaft broke today on my van Just what I needed lol MManaged to get s lift to work at 2o'clock & just got home at 10 Defo no choice now New van or waste money fixing it !
