Apart from snickers, can anyone recommend some quality trousers? I bought some from blaklader recently and they are f****d already. Knees completely torn out. 3 months at best ive had them. May be that its the redbacks thats caused it but im not too impressed at 70 quid plus postage.

I didn't get on with them either. I use Fristads trousers with their neoprene knee pads, works for me.

Unfortunately in our game work trousers don't last as long as we'd like ! A pair of old jeans & strap on's will last you ages but you'll look like a tramp Lol

Best way is to alternate between a few pairs & don't pay £70 a pair

I've moved to dungarees since every friggin pair of work jeans I have fall down my ar!e...

Got a smart pair of dungys off amazon (£25)...Loads of pockets, insert ready (although, I don't use them), and seriously comfy. Only problem is, I look like a bit of a nob :D Highly recommended though..

Yes mate. I found them very good but then struggled to get hold of them. I use snickers as get them very well priced.

The heavier version of tuff stuff are ok for cheapys and last long. Paid £38 for 2pairs on Fleebay but I also get on with the Dewalts as they have a good strong knee on them and they seem to last me ages.

As said though I alternate mine and have separate 'costume change' shagged out old work trousers strictly for screeding!
