    Afternoon all,

Has anybody had issues with the above bubbling. We have done 3 separate installations and on each one the Lino has bubbled around the edges. We have used the F.Ball & Co.'s adhesive and the Forbofix Eurocol 414. The floors were dry and were ground and 1st floor rooms.

i find 48 extra grabs the best and has a longer open time. and use a 68kg roller if you have room

Sorry if this is a daft question but was your trowel notch good ?? Is it cut in too tight. The two together will cause this to happen

Back rolling or not back rolling wouldn't cause this

get a hand roller round the edges, decent notch and let the glue tack off slightly, cut roll into drops the night before and layout to lose the rollback effect, no doubt teaching ya how to suck eggs but that how I fit the stuff and not had any issues.

That's how we were taught on Lino course. Decent notch a must cut and lay ya length out (no need to back roll) and use a roller must

Did you use f54. .? Could be you lost opening time therefore lost transfer between sheet and subfloor.

I had it on a bathroom I did last week, 2nd floor so no way carrying a roller up there. Brand new f.ball trowel and f54. I think the glue went off too quick...it grabbed and set straight away!

Not back rolling may not have caused this but YES all drops should be back rolled If you don't know why you weren't listening on the lino course ?

Are all drops doing this or just the odd one ?

Last couple of foot on the rolll should be discarded along with any bites

F60 on the ends about 6 inches back will work.

Laid down a corridor, laid short ways. its at the ends on both sides of the corridor which are bubbling. I cannot upload a picture as it says 'exceeds my quota'.
