How do you go about it? Kieran just uplifted my kitchen diner. About 18-20m2 Floor is Karndean an was stuck with ht. Took him almost of the day using bully stripper an multi tool to get it up. What ways do you uplift? Do you charge day rate or per job?
I know some domestic firms charge by the hour and don't give a fixed price. I estimate how long it's gonna take plus the cost of trade waste. Did you not help him Daz?
I helped him finish off when I got back. I done some trims at a nursery and this small conservatory. The one where I need the trim sorting. I told my time lol
I was dan. To be honest it was just some under the skirting. Washing machine units and fridge. He was scared to move them. Got it primed too to keep the dust down
Looks like you have some moisture issues judging by the concrete staining ? Does it need a dpm system? Or was last floor laid before the base was dry ?
Charge by the hour. Usually hammer, chisel and a heat gun. If it's safety flooring or something we know is gonna be very difficult then its per hour plus the cost the rent a stripper. We never say ho many hours it will take but do provide a rough estimate. B The customer is always welcome to try and uplift themselves if they don't wanna pay lol
