on ebay has about 5 hours left and as I write only at £295 an ex hire machine by looks of it, says they will pallet ship it if need be or pick up from croydon, would go for it myself but decided on getting the menzer esm 406 http://goo.gl/4RDU1H

eyed up the menzer for a good while and decided it would be my replacement for my sweeny todd one.
Then decided upon a wolff samba instead as a good paying job came about.
Lemme know how you find the menzer as I know someone else is looking at that exact one as well (dazlight)

Will do, ordering it in a couple of weeks, mainly getting it as ive got a subby job doing 1000m2 of lvt over anhydrite so wanted to get a proper machine that will handle grinding and has a vac attachment, saw in one of your old posts that you were eying up the menzer so done abit of research and liked what I found, very popular on the continent from what ive seen.

I can't decide. Wanted one with a built in vac like mikes wolff one

How do you go above the vac attachment. What do you use?

There's a vac skirt attachment bout £150 then you attach it to a dust extractor, I'm gonna be rigging it up to my festool one I just got with my plunge saw.

If your grinding 1000sq you will need a big, powerful vacuum. A two motor would be the min, three motor would be better.

I have tried small vacuums, and its not a great result. I also tried with my mates Hilti vac, with a auto filter shaker etc. Not really up to the job.

It's 1000m2+ over 30 flats at circa 30-35m2 each one was hoping the festool vac would be able to handle that.

Ah ha, yes I get the picture. Should be fine doing it broken down into small areas. I ground about 1000 sq last week, and was empting this plenty.

Dazlight asked me to get it in, so if he wants it, it won't get on the shop. If he don't want it I'll pm you as you have asked about it.
    Is that OK..
