None that I know, are on anything like that. Most I know want at least £100 a day, clear of tax etc with van included. That`s what I was paying my guy`s too
Lol, the point is there isn't a going rate wether your self employed or employed. The fact is that alot of fitters are on that type of money. I know fitters on £70 a day and they are working high end domestic.

For a lot of employed guys it's the security feeling. Don't need to chase the work. Paid holidays and sick pay
I think its because its easy when you have everything done for you. Turn up, fit what your told and go home. It's the comfort zone.
