606 or 4000

Hi guys just about to buy a new stapler and wanted a few opinions if you can help? Have always used the 606 however wondered if the 4000 is better as I've been given same price on both?! Thanks in advance chaps

 

4000 staples a lot weaker and better for carpet you can tell the difference when you pull a bullnose off that's been done with a 606
606 can do brads but no good for beading because it puts a big dent in the beading
606 great for using on gripper
I would buy a 4000 and a me30
Which would work perfect for me

Thanks bow flooring and mainly carpets ( bull nose , turned edges ) and occasionally staple gripper on to loose risers, gonna go for 606 thanks again

 

Just out of interest why would you prefer a weaker stapler for carpets??

I reckon it'll be used more on gripper than carpet..

 

I don't know why I go the 606 to be honest just that I had one previously that got pinched off the van and after asking the question got informed id have to wait longer for 4000?! And 606 never let me down before, one thing though, my old one never really had a delay on? The new one has a slight delay is this normal?

 

Or did I have a 4000 previously?? Hmmm

 

Yeah delay is normal on all new ones I think
