Which do you prefer ? I went to a tool show today, and bought the new Makita cordless jigsaw. I`ve got a load of Makita stuff now, and the new brushless stuff is really good. I got there cordless circular saw, and impact driver recently, and there also really good. Up until recently, I have prefered corded drills etc because the corless stuff, never seems to have enough oommff, but the newer stuff seems much better.
Definitely cordless where possible. The makita jigsaw is bang on, cuts through whiterock for fun Also quicker to get through the PAT testing when it's just the charger and half a dozen separate tools.
Thought so, as I've never heared anything bad about Milwaukee before. Their cordless drivers have always been a bit overkill for my needs (big 18v hammer drills) but i see they now do a small 10.8v. Surprising how powerful some of the 10.8v kit is now. I have the Bosch 10.8v drivers for day to day use.
