    Any recommendations please.
Customers got wood block flooring down seems well bonded probably on bithcmin. Wants to install LVT fully adhered.
Do i overboard with 6mm ply and finish off with 700 superflex screed,
    Or
Uplift woodblock Pro1200 then F76 Dpm then Pro1200.
Getting conflicting advice from my fitters any help advice would be appreciated.
    Cheers in advance

Defo rip up the blocks, grind, then dpm sandwich using F77. You could grind the concrete and hit it straight away with a one coat dpm but that really depends on the quality of the concrete/paste. If the slab is pitted after grinding, you may get pin holing in the dpm. Resulting in a right load of faffing.

If someone has spec'd F76, how do they know what the moisture reading is in the concrete? Has it been tested? When was the property built?

Definitely take them up if there covers you run the risk of rot in the blocks setting in

F76 was just an example will need to do a proper hygo test when its up. Property is pre 1970.

    Thanks for the input

If it's pre 1970's, hit it with a full spec dpm regardless. F77 or Ardex DPM 1C or similar..

Hi posting here cause it won't let me post new topic. I know spacey has already advised me thanks but would like to know if anyone else has a solution other than ripping current flooring up. Customer wants job done as cheaply as possible to lay carpet tiles on 40m2 of Altro. I've tested tackifier and sticks well. There are two small areas where the floor dips down by 5mm over a ft or so. My question is will this be enough to make the carpet tiles go wonky and if so is there a patch screed I can skim over the Altro with to level it out? I understand this is a workaround and not the best way to do it. Someone on here must have done loads of carpet tiles and come across this situation

@pf. so you'll fit 150m2 on your own with no help to glue the floor out, get tiles out of the boxes, moves the tiles around, pick up rubbish, clear out the job? if so fair play.
