    Hi all ,

    I am thinking of a used buffer from ebay , would a victor 400 0r 450 , high speed or standard ,
has anyone made a shroud for a hoover and finally what grade sandpaper ?
I am not looking to grind out trowel marks ( hopefully ) just been doing some bigger jobs and each time i am rubbing away with my little stone i promise myself it will be the last ;)

    Thanks for your time Alban

Yeah if you can use a 240v then get one from ebay cheap as chips, if you need a 110v then be prepared to wait and pay bigger money, I ended up selling my 110v sander for more than I bought it for originally after 2 years of loyal service.
Sand paper wise I used the coarsest I can get hold of, I had cut a ply circle base and screwed it to a drive board then f60 on the paper, I used the black heavy coarse sheets from hss bout £3 each
