Can anyone carry out x2 repairs for me in London. There is 2traps to weld around on the 1st job. They were taking up to inspect drains. 2nd job- safety floor over ceramics. Ceramics have split through. the will take ceramic out, ply, then it's not small layer of screed and fit. Section is 1.50x2m, I know everyone will say why did you lay over ceramics. Short answer. Club owners would not let me do what I suggested as club would need to close and they said we will loose far too much money, so we laid straight over the top. i told them there was moisture under the tiles and soft ply but but its one of those very expensive clubs and they would not close the club. We had to get them to e-mail me to agree we carry out the works against my recommendation. Maybe that's still not enough but you cannot always do every job but the rules. I need it done on that specific date so contact me if you can help and you will be paid well. Thanks
Yes mate. Tiles have split through and it's not looking good in other areas. I had a look at it last week. I told them again these were the issues that could happen but they were fine and said its ok, it's lasted well
No mate. Repairs we are doing but they are paying. I wouldn't go back if they didn't pay. The owners are fine about it. You have to remember that the floor was only 6k but they would have been shut about 5-7 days which would be a small fortune and they both said no way so now they have the problem of the floor falling. Blanco will tell you how much it is to drink in there.
Not exactly bodge and scarper. One side the vinyl is fine and all tiles are sound but the other side is the issue. If I call the owners down to say we cant lay because,.... but they insist the club opens and the guys were still working when the staff came in then I think it's a bit different. Sometimes you cannot do every single job to the exact rule. In the perfect world then yes the club said ok lets shut but they weighed up 6k for he job with repairs against massive losses from being shut.
They was notified of all issues. They signed a disclaimer, they said all is well and accept the issues. Job was completed spot on they couldn't afford to close and demanded the floor down so they could open that night. It's £60,000 for a bottle of champagne.
