Carpet tile tacky

    I used the mapei one as you know on carpet tile job. Says you can get 200sqm out per tub but i only got around 160sqm. Not to bad i thought.

    Gemini do a spray tackifier canister. Can get 400-500m2 out of a single unit. So the leaflet says. Prob same as gekko one

    There's deals to be done on the lay bond one. ;-) ask your wholesalers for best deal on any tackifier

    cheapest one I can find! personally I dont think with carpet tiles it matters which make you use as the glue for carpet tiles isnt as integral to the floor staying down as say LVT is, as long as its abit sticky it will do imo.

    I use the Mapie one and find you can put it down thin and it's still pretty good. Not good on a porous subfloor as it's pretty thick! Only thing I don't like about the spray system is surely its gotta be bad for your health? Is it not like a giant can of spray?

    Mapei is the best & strongest IMO I'm sure its nearly the same stuff as there PS ?

    Depending on the floor, it's 7-20 m2 per liter, I get the 25 liter container, use a roller, it goes on forever, it's about £,??
