Thought I'd start I thread on builders who don't care and make our life hell.

This job was ice and clean then I walked into this.

They don't tidy up a ****ing thing. Had a good example last week where we did the ground floor uplift carpet and underlay take off skirting and fit new floor. All rolled up, cut up and taken away. Plumbers did the basement and made a right mess. Holes in the walls even one while piece of architrave taken off, broke the kick board, cushion floor taken up in whole areas and left outside in the rain, cut all the cement board and left it to turn to sludge outside. Rubbish pile looked like it was ready for bonfire night and we ended up removing it because they didn't have time to come back before Christmas. Arseholes

Yes, a builders definition of "ready" leaves a lot to.be desired. They tend to have more of an "out of sight, out of mind" mentality :(

daz is that screed over floor boards I see in pic 2 lol, builders are the scourge of my life berkley homes seems to be getting worse by the day they have utter numptys running these sites, had 10 townhouses to do, we have had no heating till after its fitted cleaners in whilst we are fitting it, tapers and joiners whilst im latexing it and plots that havent seen a broom in a month, then they have the audacity to moan if we take a little longer to finish each one!

Used to do it with green bag years ago. Before fibre screeds came out. Mix it semi dry then go over whole floor of cupped floorboards.

We used Level It Base. Not used it before, but up to 50mm in one pour.
About 120sq. m and about 80 bags used, all mixed up by Charlie !

Ive never pumped screeds before. Jobs never seem quite big enough to justify buying one, although i`d like to give it a try.
