I put this up on the old flooring forum last week but I had to share the brilliance of it on here as well. Enjoy the video and maybe we can get this tool and these techniques imported to the UK as well.

That is actually a good idea Close quarter power stretching but looks a bit awkward to use & a bit of a ridiculous looking tool

Hillbilly redneck version of the bearclaw. The positions he got while using the tool made me think he had crabs.
BTW why not thump the crap out of the skirting while your at it or was he just trying to flatten the telephone wire.

It's called a carpet crab because you need eight arms and legs to use it properly.

That was funny. He then said you can even hide a telephone cable. I doubt it's working anymore!

Will it fit in your tool bag! Just use a knee kicker like most fitters lol

Are you telling me that you fit carpets better than Cletus ? I know when to nod my head in admiration to someone with better tools and technique than myself.

It does the work of a power stretcher and kneekicker in one as well as taking 90% of the effort out of fitting carpet so you've more energy to spend elsewhere. I've tried most fitting tools now: the onestep, butt buddy both sit in my shed unused to date this one I take out on every job

I can see speed being the only problem, if you consider how fast you can go along a wall with a normal stretcher.

Does it pucker behind the knee as you stretch
