Hi all. I'm looking at getting the 404 combi scriber as I want to limit using the heat gun even more doing LVT but wondered how you would use it on LVT? I can see the use with sheet vinyl which I scribe anyway but was never taught much about scribing LVT which I've had to work out myself
I've got one I only ever really use it as a small scribe bar as it more stable to hold than the big scribes But it's pretty much obsolete now Ive got the floorskills curve cutter
not really. I can see how its used on border work as well. Just wondering if its worth investing in and what more I can use it on.
Well it's a combination scriber so it a scribe bar unders & over & a recess scriber all in one but you have to take it to bits to change it for what you want to do ! If you like like tools it something to add to the collection
you could always do a floorskills lvt course that shows Karndean , Amtico etc methods of installing along with tools which will help you, along with tools your wasting your money on. To be fair, we show you how to make your own tools if you want to be tight
