will adding more latex to a full bag and bottle make any difference to the mix when its cuerd I have seen lads do this to reduce trowl marks.
Makes it weaker and takes longer to dry. Seem to remember that for each cup added the final strength is reduced by half
Some screeding manafactuers can't even get the same volume of latex in each bottle? Making one mix a little thick, then the next too watery.
Will give the mix a rubbery top (laitance) if you add too much liquid, just use a spikey roller roberts your mothers brother, only people ive seen adding to the mix dont use one hence why they try and make it more liquidy in an attempt to help it settle flatter.
You would think the manufacturers that are clever enough to make a product would also have the brains to add extra latex to the products if it made them flow better etc without a knock on effect.
I remember when I first started screeding years back , and used the fballs green bag , if u used it as you should 1 and 1 it was way to thick
