Been using a Dewalt one today but found it hard to use. What one do you have and is it good?

Use the festool ts55 with guide rail and extractor for door trimming. Excellent bit of kit and easy to use

I've got the same as above festool, I will be honest they are good but overpriced especially the vacuums, I've got the ctl26 and it works well with the automatic suction when used with a saw but it's made of flimsy plastic mines cracked in a few places when it's fell over in van, it comes with a 30mm hose and should come with a 50 mm IMHO

if I were to buy again I wouldn't buy one I'd go for one of the red flex ones I used on site a couple of months ago seemed more sturdy and solid an the suction seemed better for a model in the same category as mine, also the festool bags are a rip off, I've had mine converted to take numatic bags works out a lot cheaper, can't fault the saw though.

I've had a Dewalt for about 2 years, found it great and easy to use,
Westward tools have the Festool ts55 on offer today only, £249.99 +VAT, free delivery.

I've got a Festool TS55 with a long and short rail, find them very accurate and really easy to use, have it plugged into my excellent Nilfisk Multi 30 vac, a much better extractor than the Festool units imho, a lot cheaper too.

Turns out it's the blades on the Dewalt. They wear out quick. Will the ones at quickstep do. He changed it today an much better.
